I am a mother of two and have (am still) married to the same guy for more than 30 years. I believe that a financially healthy life could have direct impact not only on our mental, physical or spiritual health, but also our family relationships.  Do you know 90% of divorce cases are caused by financial problems?

I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional  with over 20 years of experience in the financial industry.  Before joining Networth Financial Corp as an Investment Funds Advisor, I have worked with Desjardins Financial Service, Edward Jones, HSBC Securities, HSBC Canada Bank, and Standard Chartered Securities in Hong Kong.

Besides recommending mutual fund investments and insurance products, I have given financial courses at the Surrey Continuing Education Center, been writing a financial column for the Evergreen Retirees’ monthly newsletter and is a frequent guest speaker on financial planning topics at various community centers,  Radio AM1320, AM1470 and OMNI TV.

My Philosophy

I strongly believe that maintaining a financially healthy life can have a beneficial impact on people’s mental, physical and spiritual health.  That’s why some friends call me the “Financial Doctor”.

I specialize in helping middle class families achieve financial stability by applying sound financial planning practice. is essentially conservative in nature. Operating within each client’s risk profile, an investment portfolio is structured which will achieve long term growth without undue risk  — as a result, both my clients and I shall sleep soundly at night.

I value my clients’ trust and I always act with clients’ best interest in mind. When clients give me their trust and confidence, I return their gift with my caring and commitment to help them in any way that I can.  I view my relations with clients as true partnership. It demands honesty, sharing and exchanging ideas and solutions that will enrich our lives.

Because I value my clients’ trust very highly, I always work diligently, placing my clients’ interests first. And because I believe in life-long learning, I make sure to keep up-to-date with market trends and strategies, as well as the best products for clients.

How I get paid

I am compensated by the companies with whom I place your business. This compensation is usually in the form of commissions paid when your contract is issued and delivered. Sometimes my compensation is on the basis of continuing commissions payable each year your plan is in effect. I am also liable to repay commissions received if your business does not stay with the supplier company according to their regulations.
